A beautiful Van Cleef and Arpels butterfly brooch. Centering the wings of the butterfly is polished wood, lightly framed with gold. The butterfly's body is adorned with nine prong-set brilliant cut diamonds, set in 18k gold. The back of the brooch has gold outlining the wood, and holding two pins. This Brooch is signed and numbered Van Cleef and Arpels, circa 1980's.
